خنتَyou betray المودَّةَfriendship إنif تركتyou forgo الشربَdrinking يوday (first part of يوم)
خنتَ المودَّةَ إن تركت الشربَ يو
مَcompletion of يوم (day) الدَّجْنِovercast skies منfrom كأسٍa cup وريقِand the saliva of أليفِa beloved
مَ الدَّجْنِ من كأسٍ وريقِ أليفِ
You betray friendship if you forgo drinking on a day
Betray our love, you would, if to drink, dear
of overcast skies, from a cup and a beloved's saliva.
