O ruby, O ruby mine, creation of mankind
Whoever time has not stirred to longing for him has made no sign.
Who ever it doesn’t tear apart, it doesn’t delight

She smiles, revealing daisies in their beds,
It shows from the branches in its places
like sudūs cloth, pure in color, with finely serrated edges.
Like white lilies of pure color and finest scent

And if she appears at her gathering place, singing,
And if a singer appears in its valley
rage flares between hearing and sight.
Anger burns between hearing and sight
