Sulayman is truly enraptured in spirit.
A spirit enraptured in sincere solomonity
A saint, he is faith to whoever seeks faith.
And for me, for one who seeks faith, is faith

بِالسُّوءِ مَا صَدَقُوا بِالظَّنِّ أَي مانُوا
Enraptured in spirit—so those who thought him tainted
A spirit enraptured, so whoever thought him confused
by evil were wrong in their suspicion—that is, they lied.
With evil, they did not believe true in their assumption

He has drunk his fill from the sea of spiritual knowledge; no
He has become perfumed from the sea of knowledge, not
frenzied longing turns him from its pleasing outpouring.
Diverted from its abundance, the sick at heart

It is fitting for the tribes to approve of him, when he has found favor
It is the right of the tribes to be pleased with him, if
with all the Banu Hasan and Dayman.
The children of Hasan were pleased with him, a constant running spring.
