منيfrom me سَلاَمٌgreetings ِإلىto شَيخِيmy shaykh الذيwhom جَعَلَهmade him
مني سَلاَمٌ ِإلى شَيخِي الذي جَعَلَه
رَبُّthe Lord البَرِيَّةِof creation فَرداًunique سَابِقاًforemost كَمَلَهperfected him
رَبُّ البَرِيَّةِ فَرداً سَابِقاً كَمَلَه
Greetings from me to my shaykh, who was made
My greetings to my sheikh whom the Lord of creation
by the Lord of creation unique and foremost, and brought to perfection.
Made unique, preceding, completed his perfection.
لاَnot زَالَceased يَرفُلُwalks in flowing garments فيin أثوابِrobes of عَافِيَةٍwell-being
لاَ زَالَ يَرفُلُ في أثوابِ عَافِيَةٍ
دُنياًin worldly life ودِيناًand in faith وأولاَهُand granted him العَلِيthe Most High أمَلَهhis hope
دُنياً ودِيناً وأولاَهُ العَلِي أمَلَه
May he ever walk in flowing robes of well-being,
He continues to exult in robes of wellbeing,
in worldly life and faith, and may the Most High grant him his hope.
Worldly and faithfully, and the Most High fulfilled his hopes.
