أعَائِشُ إِن تَحَقَّقَ مِنكِ بَينٌ

لَمَا كَفَفت عَنِ الجَرَيَانِ عَينُ

O Aisha, if estrangement occurs

My eyes would not cease their flowing

أَعَائِشُ إِنَّ بَينِكِ غَيرُ هَينٍ

وبَعضُ البَينِ لَو تَدرِينَ هَينُ

O Aisha, estrangement with you is no simple matter

And some estrangement, if only you know, is simple

أتَدَّكِرِينً قَولكِ بِإِختِلاَسٍ

ضُحىً كَلِمَاتٍ أحرُفُهُنَّ لَينُ

Do you remember your softly uttered words

In the morning, their letters soft

سَمَوَاتُ القُلُوبِ حَلَلتِ بِهَا

مَحَلاًّ مَا يَحِلُ بِهِ البُطَينُ

They unlocked the heavens of hearts

To a place unlocked by intimacy
