And a mourner whose cry I heard at dawn—
my heart took fright, recoiled, and found it strange.

So I steadied my heart, then said: 'A dove

I keep my clothes clear of it; its water has dwindled.

And a sandal, like a quail's torn remains, I left
beside a dusty track, like a woven band.

my foot pounds across Busbut, then ‘Asansar.
