عِلمي مَعي حَيثُما يَمَّمتُ يَنفَعُني

قَلبي وِعاءٌ لَهُ لا بَطنُ صُندوقِ

My knowledge is with me wherever I go, benefiting me.

My knowledge, be with me wherever I go, it benefits me

My heart is its vessel, not the inside of a chest.

My heart is a vessel for it, not the belly of a box

إِن كُنتُ في البَيتِ كانَ العِلمُ فيهِ مَعي

إِن كُنتُ في البَيتِ كانَ العِلمُ فيهِ مَعي

أَو كُنتُ في السوقِ كانَ العِلمُ في السوقِ

أَو كُنتُ في السوقِ كانَ العِلمُ في السوقِ

If I am at home, knowledge is there with me.

If I was at home, knowledge would be with me

Or if I am in the market, knowledge is in the market.

Or if I was at the market, knowledge would be at the market
