أَكْثَرَspoke at length النَّاسُpeople فيabout النِّسَاءِwomen وَقالُواand they said
أَكْثَرَ النَّاسُ في النِّسَاءِ وَقالُوا
إنَّindeed حُبَّlove of النِّسَاءِwomen جَهْدُthe utmost hardship of الْبَلاءِaffliction
إنَّ حُبَّ النِّسَاءِ جَهْدُ الْبَلاءِ
People spoke at length about women and said:
Most people exaggerate about women and say
“Indeed, love of women is the severest affliction.”
That to love women is the epitome of tribulation
ليسَis not حبُlove of النساءِwomen جهداًa hardship ولكنَand yet
ليسَ حبُ النساءِ جهداً ولكنَ
قُرْبُcloseness to مَنْsomeone whom لاَnot تُحِبُّyou love جُهْدُthe utmost hardship of الْبَلاءِaffliction
قُرْبُ مَنْ لاَ تُحِبُّ جُهْدُ الْبَلاءِ
Love of women is no hardship, but
To love women is not strenuous, but
being near someone you do not love is the severest affliction.
Being close to one you do not love is the epitome of tribulation
