People rely on people as long as modesty remains in them.

People remain as long as modesty is in them

And good fortune, without doubt, comes in turns and gifts.

And happiness is without doubt occasional gifts

وأفضل الناس مابين الورى رجل

وأفضل الناس مابين الورى رجل

تقضى علي يده للناس حاجات

تقضى علي يده للناس حاجات

And the best of people among humankind is a man

And the best of people in existence is a man

Through whose hand people's needs are fulfilled.

Who fulfils people's needs with his hand

لاتمنعن يد المعروف عن أحد

لاتمنعن يد المعروف عن أحد

مادمت مقتدرا فالسعد تارات

مادمت مقتدرا فالسعد تارات

Never withhold the hand of kindness from anyone,

Do not prevent your benevolent hand from anyone

As long as you are able, for good fortune comes in turns.

As long as you are able, for happiness is occasional

وأشكر فضائل صنع الله إذ جعلت

وأشكر فضائل صنع الله إذ جعلت

إليك لا لك عند الناس حاجات

إليك لا لك عند الناس حاجات

And give thanks for the blessings of God's handiwork, since needs have been directed

And thank the virtues of God's making, for He made

To you, rather than your own needs to other people.

People's needs to you, not yours from people

قد مات قوم وما ماتت مكارمهم

قد مات قوم وما ماتت مكارمهم

وعاش قوم وهم في الناس أموات

وعاش قوم وهم في الناس أموات

Some people have died, yet their noble deeds have not died,

A people died but their virtues did not die

And some have lived, yet among people they are dead.

And a people lived yet to people they are dead
