ادخل إلى أحبّ الخلقِ كلّهم

ادخل إلى أحبّ الخلقِ كلّهم

حبّاً إليكَ وكان ذاك عليّا

حبّاً إليكَ وكان ذاك عليّا

Bring in to me the most beloved of all creation,

Enter the abode of the most beloved of all creations

The one You love most—and that was Ali.

With love for you, and that was Ali

لما بدت لأخيه سِحنةُ وجهِه

لما بدت لأخيه سِحنةُ وجهِه

ودنا فسلَّمَ راضياً مرضِيّا

ودنا فسلَّمَ راضياً مرضِيّا

When his brother beheld the features of his face,

When the radiance of his face appeared to his brother

And he drew near and greeted him, pleased and held in favor,

And he came near and greeted happily and contently

حيّا ورحّب مَرحباً بأحبِّهم

حيّا ورحّب مَرحباً بأحبِّهم

حُبّاً إلى مَلِك العُلى وإِليَا

حُبّاً إلى مَلِك العُلى وإِليَا

He greeted and welcomed him: 'Welcome to the most beloved of them,

He lived and welcomed, a welcome full of love

Dearest to the King on high, and to me.'

For the King of Highness and Elijah

أوَ لم يقلْ للمشركينَ وكذّبوا

أوَ لم يقلْ للمشركينَ وكذّبوا

بالوحيِ واتّخذوا الهُدى سُخريّا

بالوحيِ واتّخذوا الهُدى سُخريّا

And did he not say to the polytheists, who denied

Or did he not say to the polytheists when they denied

Revelation and made a mockery of guidance:

The revelation and mocked the guidance

قوموا بأنفُسِنا وأنفسِكم معاً

قوموا بأنفُسِنا وأنفسِكم معاً

ونسائِنا وبَنيكمُ وبَنيّا

ونسائِنا وبَنيكمُ وبَنيّا

'Come forth, with ourselves and yourselves together,

Arise with ourselves and yourselves together

And our women, your sons, and my sons;

And our women and your children and my children

نَدعو فنجعلَ لعنةَ الله التي

نَدعو فنجعلَ لعنةَ الله التي

تَغشى الظلومَ العاندَ المشْنِيّا

تَغشى الظلومَ العاندَ المشْنِيّا

Let us pray, then call down God's curse, which

Let us invoke and make the curse of Allah befall

Envelops the unjust, obstinate, despised one.'

The unjust tyrant stubbornly disobedient

نصبَ الكساءَ فكان فيه خمسةٌ

نصبَ الكساءَ فكان فيه خمسةٌ

خيرُ البريّةِ كلِّها إنْسِيّا

خيرُ البريّةِ كلِّها إنْسِيّا

He raised the cloak, and within it were five,

He raised the cloak and within it were five
