يا شِعبَ رَضوى إنّ فيكَ لَطيّباً

من آلِ أحمدَ طاهراً مغمودا

من آلِ أحمدَ طاهراً مغمودا

O ravine of Radwa, surely within you is a good man,

O people of Ridwa, indeed among you is a pure one

Of Ahmad’s family, pure and hidden away.

From the family of Ahmad, bright and renowned

هجر الأنيسَ وحلّ طَلاًّ بارِداً

هجر الأنيسَ وحلّ طَلاًّ بارِداً

فيه يُراعي أنمرّاً وأُسودا

فيه يُراعي أنمرّاً وأُسودا

He forsook human company and settled amid cool dew;

He abandoned his friend and settled in a cold ruin

There he watches over leopards and lions.

In it he tends gazelles and lions
