يخضب بالوشمة عثنونة

يخضب بالوشمة عثنونة

يكفيه أن يكذب في لحيته

يكفيه أن يكذب في لحيته

dyes his beard with woad—

Dyes his chin-beard with woad—

it is enough for him to lie about his beard.

Let the lie in his beard suffice him.
