And panting breaths and an eye

“I see you have drunk the cup of love unmixed,
I see you have drunk the wine of love undiluted,
for your very bones have been saturated with it.
For it has watered your bones from you.

Lovers have come to their senses in every land,
Lovers have awakened in every land,

فمالك ليس يبرحك السقام
All those afflicted by love have become apparent;
The symptoms of passion appeared altogether,

So no disease can ever leave you.

I said to her while tears of the eye were falling
in a steady flow down over my cheek:
Down my cheek in harmony:

"Go easy on one thirsty and turned away

Deaf to the blame of beauties, for in love

Reproach will never benefit him."
