فهو من إسته قفا
Hair blackened his face,
His hair turned black his face
so, compared with his arse, it is a nape.
So it stands on its hill

كان في وجهه سرا
جcompletion of 'lamp' منof الحسنbeauty فانطفاand went out
ج من الحسن فانطفا
There was in his face a lamp
In his face was a secret
of beauty, but it went out.
That flowed from beauty so it vanished

O you who remain steadfast in fidelity

To those who dislike loyalty

على منزل عفا
why does a lover like you linger
