مَنْwhoever ذَمَّcensures إدريسَIdris فيfor قِيادَتِهِhis pandering
مَنْ ذَمَّ إدريسَ في قِيادَتِهِ
فإننيthen indeed I حامدٌone who praises لإدريسِof Idris
فإنني حامدٌ لإدريسِ
Whoever faults Idris for the way he leads it,
Whoever censures Idris for his pandering—
I, for my part, praise Idris.
I, for one, praise Idris.
كَلَّمَhe spoke to ليon my behalf عاصياًa defiant man فكانَand so he became لهto him
كَلَّمَ لي عاصياً فكانَ له
أطوعَmore obedient منthan آدمٍAdam لإبليسِto Iblis
أطوعَ من آدمٍ لإبليسِ
He addressed it for me, rebellious though it was, and it became for him
He spoke for me to a defiant man, who became
more obedient than Adam was to Iblis.
more obedient to him than Adam was to Iblis.
وكانَand he was فيin سِرعَةِthe speed of المَجئcoming بهِwith him

And in the speed with which he brought it,
And in the speed with which he brought him, he was
he was Asaf bearing the throne of Bilqis.
Asaf bearing the throne of Bilqis.
