Ibrahim distinguished himself in his science;

كأنهas though he منthrough لُطفِthe subtlety of أفكارِهhis thoughts
كأنه من لُطفِ أفكارِه

يَجولُ بين الدَّمِ واللَّحمِ

It is as though, through the subtlety of his thoughts,

He roams between blood and flesh.

Should a soul grow angry with its body,
Were a soul to grow angry with its body,
he would reconcile soul and body.
He would make peace between the soul and the body.
