If you had witnessed him as he entered the fray,
striding proudly in ample, trailing iron armor,
لرأيتَyou would surely have seen منهin him والحسامُwith the keen sword بكفهin his hand
لرأيتَ منه والحسامُ بكفه
بحراًa sea يريقpouring out دمَthe blood of الكماةthe armored warriors بجدولthrough a stream
بحراً يريق دمَ الكماة بجدول
you would have seen in him, with the keen sword in his hand,
a sea spilling armored warriors’ blood through a stream.
