Of my soul’s constriction and expansion?
Who commands my soul to be seized and released
صوبvindicated رأىjudgment الناسthe people فيin حبهlove for him
صوب رأى الناس في حبه
وشعرهand his hair فيupon الأرضthe earth قدindeed خطاtraced lines
وشعره في الأرض قد خطا
He has vindicated people’s judgment in loving him,
He directed people's opinion to love him
And his hair has traced lines upon the earth.
And his poetry on earth has marched
