قد روى اللازورد في اللون عنها
They dressed him in a Christian turban;
Adorn him with a turban for the Christians
Lapis lazuli has borrowed its hue from it.
The lapis-lazuli has narrated of its hue
وجلاand he revealed طلعةًa face كبدرlike a full moon تمامٍfullness
وجلا طلعةً كبدر تمامٍ
ليسthere is not تحتbeneath الزرقاءthe blue sky أحسنmore beautiful منهاthan it
ليس تحت الزرقاء أحسن منها
And he revealed a face like the moon at its full;
Radiant is its rising like the full moon
Beneath the blue sky, nothing is lovelier than that face.
None under the blue sky is fairer than it
