بدت ثريا قرطها وشعرها
متصلٌreaching بكعبهاto her ankle كماas ترىyou see
متصلٌ بكعبها كما ترى
The Pleiades of her earring appeared, and her hair
Her earring appeared like the Pleiades, and her hair
Reaches her ankle, as you see.
Trailing down to her heels, as you can see.
ياoh عجباًwhat a wonder منat شعرهاher hair لماwhen ابتدىbegan
يا عجباً من شعرها لما ابتدى
منfrom الثرياthe Pleiades وانتهىand ended إلىat الثرىthe earth
من الثريا وانتهى إلى الثرى
Oh, how wondrous her hair, when it began
What a wonder is her hair! It begins
From the Pleiades and ended at the earth!
At the Pleiades, and ends on the ground.
