يقولsays لهto him المعشوقthe beloved وهوwhile he يلوطهsodomizes him
يقول له المعشوق وهو يلوطه
لعلكperhaps you تحتيbeneath me بعدafter ذاكthat تنامwill sleep
لعلك تحتي بعد ذاك تنام
The beloved says to him while he sodomizes him:
The beloved says to him as he makes love:
“Perhaps you will sleep beneath me after that.”
Perhaps after this you will fall asleep
فقالthen he said وهلand is there فيin العيشlife للناسfor people لذةٌpleasure
فقال وهل في العيش للناس لذةٌ
إذاif لمnot يكنbe فوقabove الكرامthe noble men كرامُnoble men
إذا لم يكن فوق الكرام كرامُ
He replied, “And is there any pleasure in life for people
So he said: And is there any pleasure in life
if noble men are not atop noble men?”
