شهادته ما ردها غير كافرِ
ويقبلهاand accepts it منwhoever كانis بالحقaccording to truth قاضياa judge
ويقبلها من كان بالحق قاضيا
None but an unbeliever has rejected his testimony.
None reject his testimony but an unbeliever,
And whoever judges according to truth accepts it.
And it is accepted by whoever judges with truth.
يقولhe expounds معانيthe meanings of الطبmedicine ياoh عجباwhat a wonder لهat him
يقول معاني الطب يا عجبا له
صحيحhealthy; sound وقدand indeed ضمتhas gripped حشاهhis innards المراقياhypochondriacal melancholy
صحيح وقد ضمت حشاه المراقيا
He expounds the meanings of medicine—how astonishing he is!
He speaks medical insights, how amazing!
Healthy, and yet hypochondriacal melancholy has gripped his innards.
Accurate, though mixed with nonsense and lies.
