My beloved has surpassed the branch upon the sand dune,

And put the full moon to shame in its fullness.

And the full moon is abashed at his perfection.

هذا قوامٌ بلا محيا

وذا محيا بلا قوام

وذا محيا بلا قوام

This is a graceful form without a face,

That one has a shape without a veil,

And that a face without a graceful form.

While this one has a veil without a shape.
