I loved the eloquence of a radiant conversation
to his surpassing beauty by the houris.
The nymphs testified to its sweet honey
يصيدُhe snares قلبthe heart of الورىhumankind بناظرهwith his gaze
يصيدُ قلب الورى بناظره
فجفنهso his eyelid كاسرٌa breaker of hearts ومكسورُand broken (drooping)
فجفنه كاسرٌ ومكسورُ
He snares humankind’s heart with his gaze;
It captures the hearts of people with its glances
so his eyelid is both a breaker and broken.
So its eyelids are alluring and broken
