I contented myself with returning to my home;

I'm content to return back home

and such is a person's way in disappointment:

That's what one does in their defeat

كالحجر الملقى إلى صاعد

like a stone hurled upward,

Like a stone thrown up high

it has no concern but its return.

It cares not but to fall back down
