أضحى يقول عذاره

هل فيكم لي عاذرُ
His cheek-down began to say:
He now declares his excuse,
“Is there anyone among you to excuse me?
Is there among you someone to excuse me?
الوردthe rose ضاعwas lost بخدهupon his cheek
الورد ضاع بخده
وأناand I عليهaround it دائرُcircling
وأنا عليه دائرُ
The rose is lost upon his cheek,
The roses have faded from his cheek,
And I am circling around it.”
While I still revolve around him.
