مشبب الجوقة يدعو لي
He sang some tasteless verse; then turned
He sang in vulgar verse and bent
the troupe’s flautist, praying for me.
The leader of the choir called to me
وقالand he said ماnot مقطوعهhis cut-off piece داخلٌentering
وقال ما مقطوعه داخلٌ
لذاكfor that reason تستخرجyou draw out موصوليmy connected one
لذاك تستخرج موصولي
And said, “His cut-off piece does not enter;
And said, "It has no meaning inside"
that is why you draw out my connected one.”
