  1. أقول لما عمني فضلكم

    وبت من إحسانكم في حرم

    I say, now that your bounty has enfolded me

    and through your kindness I have spent the night in a sanctuary:

  2. يا جيرة الجيزة من جودكم

    عاد شبابي وأنا في الهرم

    O neighbors of Giza, through your generosity,

    my youth has returned, though I am in old age.
