If you will not believe me, bestow sleep in charity,

so that the fleeting phantom may visit me in it.

وانظر إلى فقري لوصلك واغتنم

أجرى وقل للدمع قف يا سائل

And look upon my need for union with you, and gain

the reward for helping me; and tell the tears, "Stop, O flowing beggar!"
