Even if you are absent, your form and memory have become
If a person and a memory are absent
Two kings within my being—and that is fitting.

فخيامso the tents جفنيmy eyelid فوقabove ذاthis one مضروبةٌpitched
فخيام جفني فوق ذا مضروبةٌ
ولواءُand the banner قلبيmy heart فوقَabove هذاthis one خافقُfluttering
ولواءُ قلبي فوقَ هذا خافقُ
So my eyelid's tents are pitched above the one,
The tents of my eyelids erected above this
And my heart's banner flutters above the other.
