Acts as a go-between; send him to one who turns away and is bashful.

ألم تره إن قال شعراً مجانساً
يؤلفhe brings together ماwhat is بينbetween الحروفthe letters إذاwhen نظمhe composes verse
يؤلف ما بين الحروف إذا نظم
Have you not seen him, when he utters punning verse,
Bring the letters together as he composes?
