so my heart began to flutter and surge.
لوif أنthat صحبيmy companions شاهدونيthey saw me فيin الكرىsleep
لو أن صحبي شاهدوني في الكرى
والقلبand the heart يرقصdances فيin الخيالthe dream تفرجواthey would have enjoyed the sight
والقلب يرقص في الخيال تفرجوا
Had my companions seen me in my sleep,
with my heart dancing in the dream, they would have enjoyed the sight.
