بثغره خال ندٍّ

فليس يحكيه ندُّ

فليس يحكيه ندُّ

By his lips is a beauty mark of fragrant incense;

With a cheek marked by a beauty spot

So no equal can match it.

That cannot be depicted by the brightest hue,

كخاتمٍ من عقيقٍ

كخاتمٍ من عقيقٍ

وفصه لازورد

وفصه لازورد

Like a ring of carnelian,

Like a ring of precious agate

And its gemstone is lapis lazuli.

With a chrysolite inset.
