واجهد على أن ترتقى غايته

Be eager to surpass the furthest bounds of eminence,

Strive to advance far ahead in knowledge,

and strive to ascend to its utmost height.

And exert yourself to reach its pinnacle.

وحصل العلم كما ينبغي

وحصل العلم كما ينبغي

ولا تدع فائدةً فائته

ولا تدع فائدةً فائته

And acquire knowledge as you should,

Acquire knowledge as it ought to be,

and let no benefit slip away.

And miss no benefit left behind.
