وما شيءٌ له حدٌّ وخدٌ

وما شيءٌ له حدٌّ وخدٌ

يكلم من يلامسه بحقه

يكلم من يلامسه بحقه

And what is a thing with an edge and a cheek,

Nothing has limits or bounds,

that wounds whoever touches it, as is its right,

It speaks to whoever touches it with truth,

وكل حلقه من تحت رأسٍ

وكل حلقه من تحت رأسٍ

وهذا الرأس يصبح تحت حلقه

وهذا الرأس يصبح تحت حلقه

and whose entire throat lies beneath a head,

Every ring comes from under a head,

yet this head comes to lie beneath its throat?

And this head becomes under a ring.
