When her beauty appears from behind the veil

a maiden by whose beauty mankind has been bewitched!

Dazzling all mankind with her radiant light

مرآتها هذي السما وخيالها

هذا الذي بين الورى يدعى القمر

هذا الذي بين الورى يدعى القمر

This sky is her mirror, and her reflection

The sky is but a mirror of her grace

is this, which mortals call the moon.

While the moon between heaven and earth is her ghostly image bright
