مجافيةًholding raised صلباًher back كَقنطرةِlike the arch of الجِسرِthe bridge
When she kneels, she drops onto her calloused pads,
Holding her back raised like a bridge’s arch.
كأنَّas though يديهاher two forelegs حينَwhen تجريshe runs ضفورُهاher bounding gait

It is as though her forelegs, when she runs in bounds,
Were two fugitives, and her hindlegs two seekers of vengeance.
