If the sons of Qushayr are pleased with me,
If the tribe of Bani Qushayr is pleased with me,
by God's life, their approval delights me.
By Allah, their pleasure delights me,
ولاand not تنبوglance off سيوفُswords بنيthe sons of قُشَيرٍQushayr

And the swords of the sons of Qushayr do not glance off,
And the swords of Bani Qushayr do not attack,
nor do spearheads penetrate their rock.
Nor do tongues pass through its plain.
تَنَضَّيتُI wore out القِلاصَthe young she-camels الىto حكيمٍHakīm
خوارجَsetting out منfrom تَبالةَTabālah اوor مَناهاits environs
I wore out the young she-camels traveling to Hakīm,
I rode my she-camel to Hakim
setting out from Tabālah or its environs.
Coming out of Tabala or its settlements,
فماso not رَجَعَتreturned بخائبةٍin disappointment رِكابُriding camels

So no riding camels returned disappointed
So the mount of Hakim ibn Al-Musayyab did not return disappointed,
with Hakīm ibn al-Musayyab as their destination.
He is the final destination.
