Your eyes bear witness that you, from
Your eyes have witnessed that you are from
the heat of love, feel what I feel.
The heat of passion, you find what I find
بكِin you ماwhat بناin us لكنbut علىwith مَضَضِanguish
بكِ ما بنا لكن على مَضَضِ
تَتَجَلَّدينَyou steel yourself وماand not بناin us جَلَدُfortitude
تَتَجَلَّدينَ وما بنا جَلَدُ
You feel what we feel, yet, with anguish,
With you what is between us but with discontent
you steel yourself, while we have no fortitude.
You show endurance while we have no endurance
