قدindeed وجدناwe found الحبيبthe beloved يصفيmakes sincere ودادهhis affection
قد وجدنا الحبيب يصفي وداده
وحمدناand we praised ضميرهhis inner thoughts واعتقادهand his conviction
وحمدنا ضميره واعتقاده
We have indeed found the beloved sincere in his affection,
We found the beloved purifying his affection,
And praised his inner thoughts and his conviction.
And we praised his conscience and belief.
قربdrew near الحبthe beloved منto فؤادheart محبa lover
قرب الحب من فؤاد محب
لاnot يرىcontemplates هجرهforsaking him ولاnor إبعادهsending him away
لا يرى هجره ولا إبعاده
The beloved has drawn near to the heart of a lover
The love drew near the heart of the lover,
Who contemplates neither forsaking him nor sending him away.
He sees not its abandonment or its remoteness.
