She sleeps while he stays up all night
And she can bear being apart from him, but he cannot.
She is patient with him yet he is not
لئنif indeed دامpersists هذاthis وهذاand this بهin him
لئن دام هذا وهذا به
سيهلكhe will perish وجداًfrom passionate longing ولاand not يشعرhe realizes
سيهلك وجداً ولا يشعر
If indeed both these states persist in him,
If this continues as is
He will perish from longing without realizing it.
He will perish from agony though unaware
