And eyelashes exhaling magic

ومبسماً نظم من جوهر

وماوءه من أعطر الخمر

And a smiling mouth strung from jewels,

With a smile crafted from gems

And its moisture from the most fragrant wine;

And dazzling brighter than fragrant wine

ومنطقاً أثبت من سحره

ومنطقاً أثبت من سحره

أحر في قلبي من الجمر

أحر في قلبي من الجمر

And speech that, through its magic, has planted

With a discourse more potent than sorcery

In my heart a heat fiercer than glowing coals;

It set my heart aflame, hotter than embers

وشادنا تيمني شخصه

وشادنا تيمني شخصه

ووكل الأجفان بالسهر

ووكل الأجفان بالسهر

And a young gazelle whose form has enslaved me

His noble stature led me to idolize him

And charged my eyelids with sleepless vigil:

And assigned my eyelids to keep vigil

تاجر بي اللَه تفز بالرضى

تاجر بي اللَه تفز بالرضى

وتربح الجنة في التجر

وتربح الجنة في التجر

Trade with God through me, and win His favor,

Trade with me, by God you will gain contentment

And earn Paradise in the bargain.

And profit paradise through this exchange
