فوق الأيادي دَأْبُها المِنَحُ
My house and all of me belong to him whose hand
My house and all I own belong to him
is above all hands, its constant practice bestowing gifts.
Whose open hand is raised above all hands
فإذاso when انْتدَبْتُI volunteered لأمرِfor the matter of دَعْوَتِهِhis invitation

So when I volunteer to answer his invitation,
So when I'm called to serve at his command
they say, “An uninvited guest—and he makes requests!”
They say, "He's poor Tufayl, he just pretends!"
