للَهto God (expressing admiration) مُجتَمَعٌa gathering كواكبُهُits stars
للَه مُجتَمَعٌ كواكبُهُ
تلكthose الوُجوهُthe faces وضيئَةُradiant الحَلَكِthe deep darkness
تلك الوُجوهُ وضيئَةُ الحَلَكِ
How wondrous a gathering, whose stars are
Allah has a gathering of stars
those faces, radiant amid the deep darkness!
Those faces and the brightness of destiny
حتىeven النجومُthe stars هوَتfell لهtoward it كَلَفاًout of ardent love
حتى النجومُ هوَت له كَلَفاً
بنِظامِهاin their ordered array منfrom قُبَّةِthe dome الفَلكِthe celestial sphere
بنِظامِها من قُبَّةِ الفَلكِ
Even the stars fell toward it out of ardent love,
Even the stars incline to Him in yearning
in their ordered array, from the dome of heaven.
