كلامُه في وعيدِي ليس يجْرحُنِي
إنindeed الوعيدَthreats سلاحُthe weapon of العاجِزthe helpless one الحمِقِِthe foolish
إن الوعيدَ سلاحُ العاجِز الحمِقِِ
His words threatening me do not wound me.
His threats against me do not wound,
Indeed, threats are the weapon of the helpless fool.
For threats are weapons of the feeble fool.
