مِنfrom among صَفْوةِthe choicest الخَلْقِِcreation مَلِيحٌa handsome one وَجْهُهhis face
مِن صَفْوةِ الخَلْقِِ مَلِيحٌ وَجْهُه
جامِعُa mosque; a gatherer حُسْنٍbeauty مُتْقَنُperfected الصِّناعَهْthe craftsmanship
جامِعُ حُسْنٍ مُتْقَنُ الصِّناعَهْ
A handsome one among the choicest of creation—his face
Of the finest of creations, beautiful is his face,
is a mosque of beauty, perfectly crafted.
Perfect in beauty, exquisite in making.
قدalready خُطَّwas traced مِحْرابانtwo prayer niches فيin قِبْلَتِهِits qibla (direction of prayer)
قد خُطَّ مِحْرابان في قِبْلَتِهِ
لمَّاwhen اقْتضَتْهrequired it كثرةُthe great number الجماعَهْthe congregation
لمَّا اقْتضَتْه كثرةُ الجماعَهْ
Two prayer niches have been traced on its qibla wall,
Two prayer niches have been set in his direction,
when the size of the congregation required it.
As multitudes have flocked to pray there.
