وَفي الدَهرِ وَالأَيّامِ لِلمَرءِ عِبرَةٌ

وَفي الدَهرِ وَالأَيّامِ لِلمَرءِ عِبرَةٌ

وَفي الأَرضِ عَن دارِ الأَذى مُترَحرَحُ

وَفي الأَرضِ عَن دارِ الأَذى مُترَحرَحُ

And in time and the days there is a lesson for a person.

In life and in days, there are lessons for man,

And on earth there is room to withdraw from the abode of harm.

And on earth, far from the abode of sorrow, a refugee.
