أُحَمِّلُ أَنفاسَ النَسيم صَبابَتي

مُعَطَّرَةً تُهدي غَرامي إليكُمُ

I entrust the breaths of the breeze with my longing,

I fill the breeze's breath with my affection

Perfumed, conveying my ardent love to you.

وَأَولى رَسولٍ في الهوى نَفَسُ الصَبا

وَأَولى رَسولٍ في الهوى نَفَسُ الصَبا

وَأولى تَحِيّاتي سَلامٌ عليكُمُ

وَأولى تَحِيّاتي سَلامٌ عليكُمُ

And the most fitting messenger in love is the breath of the east wind;

And the first messenger in passion is the youthful breath

And foremost among my greetings is: peace be upon you.
