رَهوَ خراسانَ وتيهُ النَّبطْ

رَهوَ خراسانَ وتيهُ النَّبطْ

ونخوةُ الخوذِ وغدرُ الشُّرَطْ

ونخوةُ الخوذِ وغدرُ الشُّرَطْ

Khorasan’s repose and the Nabataeans’ conceit,

And the pride of helmets and the treachery of the police,

اجتمعت فيك ومِن بعدِ ذا

اجتمعت فيك ومِن بعدِ ذا

أنَّك رازيٌّ كثيرُ الغَلَطْ

أنَّك رازيٌّ كثيرُ الغَلَطْ

Have gathered in you; and beyond this,

You are a man of Rayy, much given to error.
