إنَّ الذي أمَّلتَ أخطاكا

إنَّ الذي أمَّلتَ أخطاكا

May the Lord of humankind bless you, bless you.

Indeed, what you hoped for has eluded you.

أتيتَ شخصاً كيسُه قد خلا

أتيتَ شخصاً كيسُه قد خلا

ولو حوى شيئاً لأعطاكا

ولو حوى شيئاً لأعطاكا

You have come to a person whose purse is empty.

And had it held anything, he would have given it to you.
